Sites and apps under TK Hub / TK Works are provided by Terrell Francis in Texas. Use is at your own risk. Hiring the shop means you agree to the price rules below.
Websites are listed at $1,000. Apps are listed at $5,000. A light job can be quoted at half: $500 for a website, $2,500 for an app. The start is $250 on a website and $500 on an app. That start counts toward the price. It is not extra. It is not refunded after work begins.
The quoted price holds unless the build costs more than half of that quote. If it does, the discount is void. The price becomes twice what the build cost. If twice the cost is higher than the listed price, you pay the listed price. The price is never below the cost. If the cost itself is higher than the listed price, you pay the cost, and you are told before the job continues.
A website quoted at $500 that costs $600 to build is $1,000, not $1,200. An app quoted at $2,500 that costs $1,600 to build is $3,200. An app quoted at $5,000 that costs $1,600 stays $5,000. The $1,600 figure is what the house apps cost after a month of heavy work. A normal client app should cost less. If a job will break the quote, you hear the number before the work keeps going.
After delivery, changes are billed unless you are on a keep plan. Website keep is $200 a month. App keep is $400 a month. Stay a year on monthly and the 12th month is free. Pay yearly and three months are free: $1,800 for a website, $3,600 for an app. A month already started is not refunded.
If the site or app takes orders or other card payments, checkout runs through Stripe. You sign a contract before that checkout goes live. With no keep plan the cut is 10% of each payment. On a keep plan the cut is 5%, and fixes to that site or app are included. Stripe’s card fee (2.9% + 30¢ on a normal US card, about 3% of a normal ticket) comes out of that cut. TK Hub keeps the rest: about 7% with no plan, about 2% on a plan. You can switch or cancel anytime. The new rate starts on the next sale. The cut lasts only while payments run through the Stripe account set up for the job. If Stripe’s fee on a tiny ticket is larger than the cut, TK Hub’s share on that ticket is $0. DoorDash and Uber Eats keep about 30%. This is 10%, or 5% on the plan.
